Outstanding gardener

I recently hired a new gardener. I have lived in SC since 8/11 and just got so tired of playing musical chairs over gardeners working here. They circulate and are basically maintenance guys with no idea of how to handle plants.

I used Thumbtack, an online service like Anji’s list.

The company is "Golden Landscape," 760-851-1228. The father originally trimmed all the palm trees here in 1992, the year his son was born - Jose Diaz.

Jose speaks perfect English, he was born here. The company is a commercial gardening company but are looking to pick up residential customers.

They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Jose responds immediately to text messages and picks up phone calls on the first ring. I make a list of what I want his guys to do and before I share it with them, they are already taking care of my list without any communication. Jose comes every other week.

This is my first referral to any group here. I hope I never have to hire another gardener for the rest of my life.

I could not be more pleased.

I trust this gardener not to do that to me. In the event he neglects my garden I told him that would be foolish. He knows what I did for a living. LOL

The company comes here weekly. I have a large backyard with a lot of wind blown sand. I pay $200.00 per month. I find that fair. I have had the madness of terrible gardeners for TWELVE years and now I am free of that stress.
