The user interface for the site is fairly easy to use and is intuitive. There is no user guide for how to use the site, as far as I know.
If you mouse over buttons, you should see popup help or description.
If you need help doing something, ask here. If you have the question, probably other people do to!

I found this PDF on the internet. Unfortunately, the NodeBB folks do not have a users guide.
I don't know for sure how correct everything is in the document, but it might help a lot.

There is a Reply button on this communication but I cannot find a way to reply to current posts. What should I do?

@Bugs
If you tap on a post you want to reply to, this comes up:Note that you can add emojis (like thumbs up! and up vote posts, too). If you click on the 3 dots far right, you get a menu that lets you edit your existing post. If you click on the blue quotes next to the reply button, it copies the content of the post you're replying to (quote and reply).

I added my profile narrative last night but can't see it (how do I view my own profile?) Also, when I go to "edit profile," the site makes me start over so I have to enter all info and the narrative from scratch. Clearly, I am missing something. How do I get to the narrative section I already wrote - to edit it?
-
I see your profile when I tap/click on your name on your posts.

It might help if you (anyone) clicks on the >> button at the very bottom left of the page.
Then you see this on the left:

How do I start my own topic? Where do I go? I can reply to topics but can't figure out how to start my own. Thanks in advance!

See the big blue New Topic button?
To get to this (the home) page, click on the “Sun City Palm Desert Residents” link at the top of any page.
You will have to select a category for your topic, like “solar Project” or “General Discussion” next to the “Enter Your Title Here”
